Reading Challenge

Today begin’s the Art of the Novella reading challenge, where you are invited to attempt to complete all 42 books in the Melville House series. [via MobyLives] Prizes to be won (even if you don’t finish)!

I think I have maybe three books in the series (Joyce’s The Dead, Chekhov’s My Life, Melville’s Benito Cereno), so I would terrible at this if it were limited to my library. I think if I really tried, I could probably go for Mesmerised (15) or Obsessed (21), but… school’s starting, and I really don’t have the sort of discipline that allows me to read 30+ different writers in a month.
