Omnivore: Back to Reading

Omnivore is a brief weekly report on some of the things that I’ve been enjoying during the week.

I finished up John Banville’s The Inifinities this week, and went on to read Don DeLillo’s The Body Artist. I’m currently reading J.M.G. Le Clézio’s Fever. There is a picture of him from the Sixties on the back cover and everyone who notices it comments that he is a rather dashing bloke and could be a model.

Got my grubby hands on PJ Harvey’s Let England Shake and I think it’s fairly brilliant. I’m also listening to the Talking Heads album Remain in Light and (still) Van Morrison’s Astral Weeks.
