The Millions’ 2013 book preview.

As is tradition by now, the Millions has an enormous book preview for the year, which you can feast on in the link. [via The Millions]

Highlights for me include Yoko Ogawa’s Revenge, Alejandro Zambra’s Ways of Going Home, Maurice Sendak’s My Brother’s Book, Jamaica Kincaid’s See Now Then, Anne Carson’s Red Doc> (a sort of sequal to Autobiography of Red), a reissue of César Aira’s The Hare, and László Krasznahorkai’s Seiobo There Below.

There’s also Lars Iyer, Colum McCann, George Saunders, William H. Gass, Sam Lipsyte, an unusual Coetzee, James Salter, Ma Jian, Karl Ove Knausgaard, Paul Harding, Nabokov, and of course, Javier Marías.
