I’ve actually had more books arrive than just this alone, but this deserves top billing, I think.
So much so that I had to take two pictures.
Yes, László Krasznahorkai’s Satantango (I’ve decided to omit the accents from here on since the book doesn’t use them on its cover either) finally joins my somewhat overcrowded shelves.
It is one of the more beautifully designed books (physically, I mean) that I’ve come across in a while. There’s just something about the rough-textured cover, the feel of the pages, the simple black-and-white scheme, and the altogether minimal and yet messy design that makes it really attractive to me.
