Omnivore: Non-Fiction

Omnivore is a brief weekly report on some of the things that I’ve been enjoying during the week.

I completed J.M.G. Le Clézio’s Fever this week, and quite enjoyed it. The same goes for José Saramago’s Small Memories, which to me is the sort of book you’d have expected him to have written more of on the side of his Nobel-worthy novels. Finally, I’ve started on Rebecca Skloot’s The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks.

My playlist this week comprises mainly the sounds of Pet Sounds, the wounded rhymes of Lykke Li’s Wounded Rhymes, and the daydreams of Sonic Youth’s Daydream Nation.
