Bob Dylan allowed to perform in China.

Bob Dylan will be performing in China before going to Hong Kong and then Singapore in April.

Dylan was originally scheduled to play Beijing and Shanghai last year, but the dates were canceled. Dylan’s Taiwanese promoter, Jeffrey Wu, of Brokers Brothers Herald, claimed the sticking point was a demand from the Ministry of Culture for Dylan to sign a pledge promising “not to hurt the feelings of the Chinese people” during his performances.
